We are now accepting tracks or mixes from DJs. They will be posted on our site either as a batch or an exclusive selection from a particular DJ.

What does this mean for you?

Free publicity, duh. Our blog is slowly developing with over 100 twitter followers acknowledging our credibility in the scene. We also have high Google ranks for various keywords that drive traffic to our site.

On top of that, you get the opportunity to share your music with other Los Angeles music lovers. We all want LA artists to thrive and will share your music with our friends if we like it.

What does this mean for us (the site owners)?

We’re DJs and music lovers who want to see what’s going on out there in the music world. While radio shows bring us the mainstream developments, we want to see what’s going on in the underground as well.

Who should submit?

Right now we are accepting mixes or tracks from local LA DJ’s. Please look at our content and determine for yourself if we are likely to post any of your material. For example, if you spin downtempo chillout, it will most likely not get posted. We will, however, courteously respond to all submissions. If you’re into house, trance, techno, minimal, electro, progressive, etc. then this is your spot.

So if you’re part of the LA music scene and want to help our blog, as well as your popularity, grow, please contact us with your tracks. We do not have hosting space so I recommend using Soundcloud, Zippyshare, or YouTube to host your music online.

How to submit

Please send an email to beatconnectionla@gmail.com with the following information:

1. Your DJ name/real name, location.

2. Your influences as a DJ. What kind of music do you play? How did you get started? How long have you been DJing? Tell us a little bit about yourself.

3. What do you think of the LA dance scene? How are you involved? What’s your outlook on the future?

4. A picture if you have one.

5. Contact information – MySpace/e-mail/pigeon mail/whatever you want.

Disclaimer: We do not promise to post every mix that is sent. We do not promise to post all of the information that you send us. We reserve the right to make edits to the text that you send us when submitting your mix so it is fit to post on our blog. If we post something that you are unhappy with you may contact us to edit or take the text off the page.
