Cuz we don’t play that game.

My posting has been lacking lately. Unacceptable, I know. We have some good stuff coming down the pipeline for you fine folks, including some nifty interviews, artist previews and a comprehensive April concert calendar, but for now, the window to your weekend.

Shhhh, Axwell is making a toast

FRIDAY
Control @ AvalonAli Tiefschwarz, Acid Girls, Acid Circus: The brothers Tiefschwarz have consistently been putting out some of the funkiest tech house beats over the past several years, and have played such LA events as Monster Massive 2009 and the HARD Deadmau5 show last May. Come see what all the fuss is about! I expect him to come on at around 2:30AM ala M.A.N.D.Y. a few weeks ago for another groovy late night tech set. Rounding out the bill are nu disco duo Acid Girls and LA’s very own Droid Behavior minimal techno act Acid Circus.

SATURDAY
-Giant @ AvalonAxwell, DJ Reza: You’ve gotta have heard of Axwell by now, right? If not, come see one third (in my opinion, the most talented third) of the Swedish House Mafia in action for what is sure to be a FUN night. Relax, he’s not a made man (to my knowledge), but I still wouldn’t get on his bad side…he may house you to death. Remember to get there EARLY to avoid the heinous lines (like, 10PM would be a safe bet). This is gonna be a crowded, sweaty night at the Avalon, and you never know with these guys…Steve and Sebastian could certainly make guest appearances.
-HARD NYC @ Terminal 5Boys Noize, Major Lazer, Buraka Som Sistema, Proxy: I know I know, not an LA event at all, but it’s worth a shoutout. If you’re reading our blog from the city that never sleeps, hop on over to Terminal 5 to check out Gary Richards bring his HARD business to the East Coast. Very solid lineup, including the USA debut of Proxy.

Have a good weekend folks! Two weeks til coachella…
