Well, I’m not, thanks to a nice little head cold that popped up this morning. Blah. You non-sickly folk, however, have no excuse to miss out on some great shows tomorrow night. There are 4 legit events taking place in the greater LA area (be sure to check out our Monthly Concert Calendar, which is now conveniently located on the right sidebar), but these are my 2 picks.

You probably know Oliver Huntemann from his monstrous collaborations with Dubfire entitled “Diablo” and “Dios”, both of which are huge tracks that found themselves in the rotations of every techno DJ around when released in 2008. The German-born DJ/producer has been developing his signature, dark techno sound since the 80s, and is a household name back in Europe. I don’t think King King will know what hit it. Follow the link for details on how to get in.

The Chemical Brothers – Do It Again (Oliver Huntemann remix)

I’m REALLY bummed that I can’t make this show. Hop on over to the Echoplex tomorrow night to see one of the biggest proponents of the experimental music scene. Nosaj Thing is somewhere between dubstep, hip hop, and techno, and is breaking some very exciting ground with his performances/productions (among other things, he incorporates mindblowing live, visual mixing into his sets). He’ll be accompanied by hometown favorite Daedalus. Fuck, if I feel any better tomorrow, I’m going. Click the linky poo for tickets.
