No Steve Aoki stagediving antics this week. Tonight at the Avalon, Control is set to sprinkle a little bit of Le French Touch on Los Angelenos in the form of DJ/producer Alan Braxe. You may know him from the track “Music Sounds Better With You”, which he co-created with Thomas Bangalter (of Daft Punk fame…people know their actual names by now, right?) and Benjamin Diamond, and is now hailed by many as the greatest house track of all time. I can get down with that assessment, it’s pretty much perfect.
As for Saturday night, Steve Angello is slated to get really drunk off tequila and talk about how great LA is man the controls for your clubbing pleasure. Seriously though, Steve throws down a bumpin set and you should do your best to check him out (if you’re somehow reading this site and have yet to catch one of his half-dozen gigs in LA over the past year).
