Your Sahara tent should look something like this:

FRIDAY
Deadmau5
Benny Benassi
Erol Alkan
DJ Lance Rock
Proxy
Wolfgang Gartner
Aeroplane
Pablo Hassan

SATURDAY
David Guetta
Kaskade
2manyDJs
Major Lazer
Z-Trip
Bassnectar
Dirty South
Craze and Klever

SUNDAY
Orbital
Plastikman (Richie Hawtin)
Infected Mushroom
Club 75 (Justice + Cassius + Busy P + DJ Mehdi)
Glitch Mob
Rusko
Paparazzi
Delphic

LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip, MGMT, La Roux, Miike Snow, Flying Lotus and Little Boots could all potentially play the tent as well, but we won’t know for sure until April. As far as additions go, Friday could probably use one (Faithless? Basement Jaxx?), Saturday looks pretty set, Sunday is quality over quantity (Plastikman and Club 75 will probably get 2+ hr sets). Word on the street is that Deadmau5 has a stage show of Daftpunk-ian proportions in store…very intriguing.

I’m a little disappointed with the glut of played out, superstar DJs on the lineup. I was hoping for more acts we don’t get the chance to see that often in Southern California, but instead we got David Guetta, Tiesto, Benassi, Kaskade…guys everyone has seen a thousand times. Sorta depressing, but other than that, really stellar mix of acts this year, most people should be quite pleased. Sunday is pure musical glory, with Gorillaz, Orbital, Thom Yorke, Pavement, Spoon, Plastikman, and Sly and the Family Stone. Speaking of Orbital, don’t you dare miss them! Much, much, much more to come from us on this most wonderful weekend.

EDIT: Turns out LCD Soundsystem and Tiesto will play the main stage. Changed the post to reflect that
