For anyone who wants to relive the magic of TAO 2009-2010, Markus Schulz has broadcasted his set from Together as One. His time slot was 2-4, after David Guetta. Those are big shoes to fill, especially going from poppy house to Markus’s intense trance sound.
To be honest, unlike Rob, I thought this set was one of the best I have ever heard. There are so many tracks in there that I like, so many good transitions and such good maintenance of energy. Some of my favorite tracks in this set are Boombox, Jochen Miller’s Brace Yourself, Above and Beyond’s No One On Earth, Calvin Harris’s I’m not Alone to close out the night and countless others. Throughout the whole set you can hear the crowd roaring (but unlike many other countries, no one knows the words to the songs…).
Sounds like Markus had the energy pumping all the way through the end.
