As per Giant’s homepage, Avalon and Giant, the two titans of LA’s Saturday night club scene, are ringing in the new year with a merger that will make Giant Saturdays at the Vanguard a thing of the past. Murk (Oscar G and Ralph Falcon) and Matt Tolfrey are set to rock the house for the inaugural bash on Saturday night, but be sure to keep your plans open for the 16th because the talent will be none other than beloved house DJ Laidback Luke and techno wizard Radio Slave. Also on tap in the coming months are Steve Angello, Calvin Harris, and Sasha & John Digweed (<3).
I'm unsure as to what will happen with Saturday Nights at the Vanguard, but I imagine somebody will step in and take advantage of that space.
