9/30 – Tech&Progressive House Mix by MZKFRSH

Yo guys! One of our twitter followers/readers has given us this mix to bump on our site and it is awesome. If you want to submit your own please do!!!. The DJ is Vince Pacheco who describes his style as “big energy house”, which you can definitely sense in his mix. Flowing melodies, uplifting vocals, and a constant buildup throughout the set to keep the energy pulsing.
Here are his outlooks regarding the dance scene in Los Angeles:
I see the dance scene in LA continuing to grow and become larger. I am only 18 and have been exposed to dance music my whole life, but I have just recently noticed DJs on the radio starting to play more house tunes. I can remember a time growing up when people just classified everything as techno music without really giving it a listen… I do believe however that much of music being produced and played out of LA is electro house. This is why I believe I can bring a new style to the west coast.
Optimistic as ever! MuzikFresh lists his main influences as Laidback Luke, Mark Knight, Swedish House Mafia (of course), Afrojack and others. Like most growing DJs his goal at the moment is to get some gigs around the city in order to spread his sound and further develop his skills in interacting with the crowd and creating huge energetic live mixes. Here is how he describes his mixing style:
I truly love playing music because the possibilities are endless. I love being creative behind the decks, and I normally can’t just let a track play without doing some sort of adjustment, whether it be adding an acapella or bringing in a fresh loop from another track. I try and make my sets memorable for the people coming out to the party becuase this is the best way to keep people wanting you back for more. Being able to connect with the crowd and feed off their vibe is such an icredible feeling.
