Hopefully I’ll never get caught for this (tee-hee) but typically I vote twice for the DJ Mag top 100 poll, 5 DJs at a time. I do 1 for the top favorites, because they are at the top and will be at the top, it’s just a matter of what order they go in. I then do a second vote for the up-and-comers that I would like to see climb to the top faster and play some events in LA (how does this work? Read our previous post here.) So here is my top 10 list, which includes my top 5 big players and top 5 up-and-comers mixed together.

Honorable mention goes to Spencer & Hill who have yet to produce a house track that I don’t like (but don’t seem to play out much) and Crystal Method, who played an amazing set during EDC this summer. I had wanted to see them for a while and they definitely delivered. Tiesto should be on this list too, but I haven’t heard a live set from him in a while. Hope to see him in LA this fall when he promotes his new album, which is supposed to be influenced by his living in LA. So far no dates, although he is in Las Vegas on new years. Let’s do the sports arena again!
