Shorted some stock in this economy? Got an extra $2k to blow? I suggest you go to Ibiza while you still have the chance. For those of you that haven’t heard of it, it’s an island in the Mediterranean, part of the Balearic islands of Spain, that features some of the world’s biggest and best clubs. Summer in Ibiza is a dancer’s heaven, with the world’s best DJs featuring weekly residencies in various clubs around the island. It’s your chance to see where music is going next, because Ibiza is where DJs come to play, try out new stuff, talk to other DJs, and take music in a whole other direction during the next year.
You have a month left. Last week of September is the last season of Ibiza – everybody goes away for the year. (all the DJs that is)
DJs including David Guetta, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Fedde le Grand, Pete Tong, Judge Jules, etc. And let me tell you – the local DJs ain’t bad either. The likes of James Zabiela and Eddie Halliwell thrive here – DJs with so much skill the place could burst. Read on for travel info…
Right now, on vayama.com, I found tickets to the island for only 850$. It’s for weekdays, but don’t worry – weekends are the BORING nights in Ibiza. On a Saturday, arguably, is when they have the least big talent there (because they are all off doing massives in other cities… such as ours 
The tickets I found were for Sep. 21 – 25th, which is closing season… but that means you get to catch the closing parties, which are sure to be the craziest.
Staying in Ibiza can be super cheap, and most of the clubs have buses that pick you up from the beaches (I recommend staying near the famous Playa den Bossa – you’re sure to run into some promoters who can hook you up with club discounts), so that’s a no-brainer.
Now comes the fun part – who to see? Here is my sample dream line-up supposing I was going to Ibiza next week from Aug 30th to Sep 4th:
Sunday Aug 30th – Judgement Sundays with Judge Jules + Cosmic Gate @ Eden
Monday Aug 31st – Tiesto @ Priveledge (the world’s biggest club)
Tuesday Sep 1st – Armada @ Amnesia (the world’s best club as voted by DJ Mag. Armada = Armin’s label = Armin van Buuren 
Wednesday Sep 2nd – Hmm, not much going on here… I should probably stay home and rest but I’m only here for 5 days so I’ll take foam party @ Amnesia!!!
Thursday Sep 3rd – Hmm tempting to see Eric Prydz and PVD at Amnesia but I’ve been there the past 2 days. I’m sick of that place. I’ll take a 6-pack of red bull and then David Guetta + Tocadisco @ Pacha!!!
Friday Sep4th – Guess I’ll go see Pete Tong’s Wonderland @ Eden even though my legs can barely stand me up and I can barely drink water.
I’m tired. My head hurts. I’m going home.
